HearthCards Gallery Guidelines & Rules
- Content Relevance:
- Submitted card should be a functional Hearthstone card that could exists in the game.
- Do not submit cards that are not relevant to Hearthstone.
- Maintain Proper Wording:
- Use correct spelling and grammar. Cards must follow in-game wording standards.
- Balance and Fairness:
- Avoid designs with blatant balance or design issues.
- Appropriate Art:
- Do not use artwork that does not at least somewhat match Hearthstone's style.
- Avoid inappropriate, low-effort, or unrelated images.
- Do not use stock images or images of real-life subjects.
- Do not use artwork that does not match Hearthstone's style or is inappropriate for all audiences (if it's not okay for the game - it's not okay).
- Avoid Low-Effort Submissions:
- Posts must reflect reasonable effort and creativity.
- Avoid unimaginative twists on existing cards or references to overused memes and trends.
- Feature Unique Concepts:
- To prevent flood of cards using unknown custom keywords - introducing new keywords or concepts, main card should be a spell titled Concept: Concept Name. ex. Keyword: Shadowdance and at least three (3) examples of its usage as tokens. If you want to make a single card for someone elses keyword you can put it in the comments of that keyword' card.
- Avoid rebalancing existing cards.
- Solo Card Focus:
- Each card should stand alone. Avoid combining multiple cards if each can function independently.
- Comments:
- Be Respectful and Civil: Treat others with respect, even if you disagree with them. It's okay to not like someone's card but it's not okay to insult them for making it. Avoid personal attacks, insults, or derogatory language including any kind of slurs (race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability etc.)
- Stay on Topic: Keep your comments relevant to the discussion or the card.
- Avoid Spam: Don't flood the comment section with repeated messages, advertisements, or unrelated links.
