Oh, this would work. I just couldn't find a good example for that effect and just choose the safe way for wording. But yeah, "Combine them into a Zombeast" seems neat.

About usage, I think there is no real usage for this unless you lucky enough to get a Golden Macaw. All Beasts core cards are either Tier 5 or Tier 6 (Bear and Wolf). If you want to copy any of them, you have to keep the Zombeast in hand for a while. However, if think doesn't goes smooth, you have to use it early to survive and gain Tier 6 triple rewards. I'm pretty much into that play style that require a lots of thinking, clear pros and cons rather than straight up strong Hero.
Yup, keeping stats change is totally make sense since you combine all the minion. The only problem is this could make it really confusing when you think about the total stat change of the Zombeast's component as well as the enchantment of the Beast it copy. Card text would be quite difficult to make it clear. But believe me, I would like to keep the stat changes if it clear enough for everyone to understand the mechanic.

I think the only usage of this is getting this on mama bear or that other tier 6 one. Since stat changes aren't kept, this is basically pointless in any other non-tier 6 scenario. I think that stat changes should be kept

-The Companion added to Bob's Tavern within an order Huffer>Leokk>Rexxar since randomly having a 4/4 Taunt on turn 1 would be really broken.
-Animal Companions add Huffer to Bob's Tavern when the game start. It continues add Leokk to Bob's Tavern when you upgrade to Tavern 3, and finally Misha at Tavern Tier 5.
-When you have all three, the companions are removed and you gain a Golden Zombeast. In short, these three works just like 3 minions with the same name, but any stat changed are not kept.
-The Zombeast Battlecry basically copies a friendly Beast stats, keywords, effect, and enchantments. The following example are when it copy regular The Beast and Golden Macaw effect. The name and the Tavern Tier of Zombeast are kept tho.
