@Gothe So spells DO Discover another card? Didn't get that the first time. That does make this better.

@Lucious well yeah, obviously. I didn't want to use "it has this *card text*" because I felt too many people would be confused and think that it kept ALL the card text on the card.

Guys, you do realise that spells can't have Battlecries?
Gothe (creator)5 years ago
@Gokee they keep their original text along with this Battlecry.

Does the discovered card have it's original card text ALONG WITH the new battlecry or just the new battlecry?

I can't imagine how anyone could ever think this was any kind of fair. All you have to do is choose a card that provides ANY sort of value, then play it, then repeat. Rexxar can only generate one card a turn, and it costs 2 Mana to do so. This can generate as many cards as you can afford, and each one of them is fairly priced. This card very literally makes drawing cards obsolete. In a way, Discovering a card is BETTER than drawing one, in the sense that you get a choice. To make matters worse, there's no counterplay possible. Very literally the only (reasonable) way currently in the game to counter this infinite value generation is to play a Counterspell and hope and pray that your opponent casts a spell. This is madness.

@TheArcanist Don't forget that this is any card from any expansion or adventure that's rotated out. That's a pretty big pool of cards. And to continue to generate value, you have to continually play the cards.

I would say this is kinda OP. But with Deathstalker Rexxar's infinite value generation, this isn't that OP as it seems.
