CreatorofPillowFight3 years ago can you change it so 3/3 treants and 5/5 ancients, as well as 1/1 treants will give it the stats of what it killed. cus it's a downside if you played goru.
Gothe (creator)3 years ago Thanks for the input everyone, you've all given me much to consider concerning this card's power. I guess I've just been looking at this differently from everyone else. While it's a net 0 gain in stats if you get it off, I looked at it more as making it more difficult for your opponent to take it down since most aggro decks utilize low health, easy to kill minions.
keyvnn93 years ago I think an effect like this that is even arguably a downside would be fine on a 1 mana 2/2
keyvnn93 years ago From what I know, there have been three 1 mana 2/2s with upsides printed, 2 of them in Druid: Raven Familiar (yes Beast tag was huge in Token especially with turn 2 Mark of Yshraaj, and this was printed years ago) and Treenforcements (big flexibility and Quest and Treant synergy). The third being Battlefiend, which no longer counts.
DreMZ3 years ago I think a 1 mana 2/2 with upside is insane, even if its a net 0 gain in stats. That said, this could easily be a 2 mana 2/3 or 3/2.
Gosha305 3 years ago @Gothe The thing is that to get the +2/+2 bonus, you need to destroy a 2/2 which makes the effect more of a zero-sum than a real upside (I get that it can be a 2/1 but is it really THAT different?).
Stevethebarbarian 3 years ago The reason Battlefiend was so good was because it could scale from turn 1 onward. A 1/2/2 with an upside isn't a big deal if you can't possibly get it on turn 1.
Gothe (creator)3 years ago I'd like to ignore 2/2s with an upside. (a least until the game goes there and stays at that power level). It's mainly for token druid. Have a 2/2 Treant. Do something with it, then let this lil fella chop it down and you get a 2/4/4 with some armor.
Gosha305 3 years ago Isn't this kinda weak though? I could totally see this at 1 Mana, but without the Armor gain.
