Shoemanband3 years ago I think those applications are too niche for a Legendary, and Silence is already a rather niche effect. The main problem is that the other copies have to either be on board or in hand for Vazahal's effect to be better than a normal Silence, and both targets would need to have an effect worth Silencing. Canceling Battlecries is cool, but either your opponent had to have already played a copy and have another ready to play, or you have to Silence your own copy, both of which are pretty unlikely. Flik Skyshiv at least had a much more immediate effect.
petebar (creator)3 years ago @Randomizer That's right. Not even Battlecries can trigger due to this. The closest comparison is the 6/4/4 for Rogue that destroys the minion instead of Silencing it. So @Shoemanband that's how this works.

Silencing your Zephrys would also Silence your opponent's Zephrys if they have one, rendering it a 2 Mana 3/2 that does nothing. This has interesting utility, but it can feel pretty uninteractive at times.
