Stevethebarbarian 3 years ago Also, lots of Hunter secrets are WORSE if you have two at once. You'd rather have two Freezing Traps sequentially than at once, Snake Trap will often fill your board and waste slots, two Misdirections is a waste that does nothing
DustenStein (creator)3 years ago I am just saying that even if the effect is minor, if it comes out earlier its impact is greater
keyvnn93 years ago It’s not the stats, it’s that the effect is too minor to have a significant impact on the game, sort of like “Battlecry: Every fifth minion you play in a turn this game gets +1 Attack”
DustenStein (creator)3 years ago Well, I could remake this as a 2/2/2. I was thinking that this allows more preparation, more control and less predictability.
Randomizer3 years ago Agree with keyvnn, most of the time you don't have a reason to double up on a Secret because it's easier to play around one secret than two. Even if you did want to double up, Hunter's poor card draw makes it really hard to fish out both copies of a Secret to play. It's a negligible effect.
keyvnn93 years ago There is hardly any upside to this effect. It can even be a downside in preventing you from getting a specific Secret you want from Phase Stalker.
DustenStein (creator)3 years ago If it was a 2/2/2 it would be too strong though I think. I didn't like the numbers 3 and 4 on this guy so I went with 5
keyvnn93 years ago This is just too niche. It’s an example of changing the rules without really adding much to them. This would be unplayable with premium stats.
Deloa3 years ago @DarkWolf12 : that's a more confusing wording I think, it could just mean you can control the same secret twice in the game. "two at once" is clearer than "twice" imo.
DarkWolf12 3 years ago For the rest of the game you can control the same secret twise
Mzop (3.7)3 years ago reminds me of a certain Uncle :jaraxxus-thinking:
DustenStein (creator)3 years ago Both would trigger when the condition is met. Snipe deals 4 damage twice, Freezing trap makes it cost 2 more twice, Explosive deals 2 twice, Pressure Plate destroys a random one twice et cetera. Thoughts?
Also, if there's a better way to write this, tell me, I kinda don't like this wording a lot.
