Gothe3 years ago I;m glad to know that when i first saw this yesterday, i wasn't the only one that thought it was pretty weak.
keyvnn93 years ago I think Turba’s idea is completely fair but not completely needed. Could go either way and be balanced, just slightly stronger with the buff (of course)
keyvnn93 years ago I’m not a fan of making this 2 cost. There are lots of really good 3 drop Beasts right now (the pool is the best it’s ever been I think)
xOwleyex3 years ago At first I thought it was 2 mana, the effect is quite okay with 2 mana. Not weak, not OP but playable.
Turn out, it was 3 mana and it's pretty much weak. I like @Turba idea tho, can even be nicer with (2) cost.
Turba3 years ago Actually.. the transform part could get a little buff... how about.. Discover a 3-Cost Beast and Choose One - add it to your hand; or transform into it.
Turba3 years ago I didnt read all the comments, but think this card is great as it is. It's flavour is great and that is what matters the most, but also it seems balanced.. as long as you dont get a Silverback Patriarch
Stevethebarbarian 3 years ago This is stupid weak. A 3/2/2 discover a 3-cost Beast is bad, and 3 mana for a RANDOM 3-cost beast is AWFUL. This could easily be 2 mana.
keyvnn93 years ago Yes, and Druid/Hunter have some in-class Beast synergy and some dual-class
DustenStein 3 years ago Every dual-class has support from outside, and from inside the classes. Mage and Shaman for example: they share Ras Frostwhisper but Mage has Mozaki
DragonicDoom (creator)3 years ago @DustenStein Yes that would be the combined effect. Also while Druid has had Beast stuff in the past and this expansion, Beasts have always been one of the Hunter's main themes. Plus its like @keyvnn9 said, this expansion was about Druids and Hunters doing Beast things together.
keyvnn93 years ago Druid/Hunter’s scholomance set was about beast stuff so this seems fine to me
DustenStein 3 years ago @Damon I assume it transforms into a random 3 cost beast and you get to discover one.
@DragonicDoom Not necessarily. Druid also has a lot of beast synergies. Druid also got a few beasts with Scholomance.
Damon3 years ago What happen if both effect are combine?
DragonicDoom (creator)3 years ago It could, but Beasts are a Hunter thing
DustenStein 3 years ago Really good card. The only problem I have is that it could just be druid. Shapeshifting is somethings only druids do.
