Like every expansion has atleast 3 key mechanics, and I can only count 2 key mechanics in this, that being Gnolls and Escape keyword. And I don't think Gnolls makes that much sense. Don't know how the effect triggers nor think it fits with Gnolls characteristicks. But overall its one of the better custom expansions out there

DragonicDoom3 years ago Now that I've finally looked at all the cards I can say I'm thoroughly impressed! I was originally a little scared that the Escape mechanic wouldn't workout while looking at the class cards, but the Neutral cards definitely save it, feels like a solid yet balanced mechanic.
The Gnolls have a very well defined theme, and feel like they could really fit into Hearthstone as a more permanent addition than Elementals were. While we still get Elementals they often lack they're signature "last turn" effects, while Gnolls feel like they could keep this unique identity while fitting into other archetypes. I for one would love to put these Gnolls into Taunt Warrior for example.
Only 2 things I'd change are Hunter and Mage, and their both very minor. 1) Give a Hunter its own Spell Damage minion alongside the weapon, just to give it some more consistency. 2) Change Reconstruction. I love the card, I'm just not a big fan of the randomness. I get its meant to be the downside of 3 mana draw 3 minions, but I feel like it could be tweaked to make it a little more interesting. Maybe it could turn them into minions of the same cost as the spells, so you can build your deck in a way to improve your chances of getting specific minions? Either way if there was any fan expansion I'd want to be made official, its this one! Outstanding work mate!

Thank you too, There was a lot of passion put into this! Trees take the first plan and there are two Stormwind castle's towers behind, just like in World of Warcraft. Each expansion's logo has some sort of glowing contour. It made sense to me that to locate refugees, guards use lighthouses from their towers. That's why the lights are white and spreading everywhere. Then, I connected the Alliance crest to recolored Hearthstone's spiked circle logo-thing, added text from cooltext, some lights and shadows and that's it. It's a collage of images I find by searching them with specific tags like ART, DRAWING, PAINTING, FANART, ARTWORK etc. and adjusting them to my need.

TheFriendlyEnemy 3 years ago @King Kuba Nice expansion! Probably one of the most thematic sets I've seen, evidently made by someone with a solid knowledge of set design. There are clear overarching mechanical themes and the Gnoll tribe is focused and has a distinct identity.
A few things stuck out to me in terms of wording, such as Shadowed Mind (lowercase "w") and Shovelfin (in passive voice), and "Sheep" is its own plural. Ghnoull using "this turn before" unlike the other gnolls is somewhat confusing, too.
Your Paladin set doesn't feel very mechanically cohesive. You'd never want to play Light Display since it could pull your Goldtooth, and Giant of Greed is stronger when you have lots of one rarity, unlike the others. This archetype also discourages running Basic cards, but you have a Goldshire Footman archetype running parallel.
The Escape keyword is built up well. The cards suit the kind of playstyle that looks very fun, and the keyword itself is interesting, has a wide design space and promotes player agency. Escape Rogue in particular would be a fun Miracle variant with Bazil Thredd as a finisher.
The graphic design work is impeccable, too. Creating your own cinematic as well shows the effort you've put into this. Overall an incredible set, sorry for the long critique. If you want to discuss more about this I'm TheFriendlyEnemy#9524 on the /r/CustomHearthstone Discord channel.
