nutter666 3 years ago @Kapiork, yeah it is.. but you're trading off skipping turns for a massive health boost rather than discovering some Tier 3 minions. It could be the start of a "suffer early to benefit later" archetype of heroes.
DragonicDoom (creator)3 years ago Yeah I think I'm just gonna scrap this design. It's way too difficult to balance.
Kapiork (3.9)3 years ago @nutter666 But then it's just a slightly different A.F.Kay.
nutter666 3 years ago Imprisoned: You cannot buy minions for X turns. (To balance out the insane health bonus and to tie into the flavour that he "breaks out" after a certain number of turns (so can start buying minions)
luma3 years ago why not just say "the tavern has 2 fewer minions than usual"
DragonicDoom (creator)3 years ago The Warder's text says it can't be bought. And yeah I kinda forgot you could move minions. Maybe instead it reads "Can't be bought or moved. Adjacent minions are Dormant." So you can't even target them or move the Warder.
Deloa3 years ago +30 Health is so big it can probably give you 2nd or 3rd reliably just by tanking. Also you can move the Warder in the Tavern, but let's pretend you can't.
Also is it intentional that you can buy Warder to have Triples and ignore the effect ? Even if it's not optimal, just asking.
Linwood 3 years ago You can move around minions in Bob's tavern.
luma3 years ago Not really a big enough downside to justify the massive +30 health
DragonicDoom (creator)3 years ago Note: The Warder's position will be random each turn, so if you're lucky it'll end up on the edges where it stops you from buying just 1 minion.
Note 2: The Warder doesn't contribute to the number of minions in your Tavern, so at Tier 1 you'll get 3 minions plus the randomly placed Warder.
