Yeah that makes a lot more sense because I was seriously surprised to hear it needed a buff. I’ll make another updated version later.

@Gothe No need for an apology, deez things happen.

@Randomier I owe you an apology. I did indeed read that it summoned one. A misread on my part and something I do far too much when reading cards. Thank you for correcting me. Now yes, I totally agree with you then that this is way too strong.

@Gothe I think you misread the card, it summons TWO Hippogryphs, making it a 6/18 split. That's 12 Health worth of Taunt, 4 attack worth of Rush. If it was just one, I'd agree with you that this is fair.

In comparison, stone sentineel, a 7/4/4 that summons two 2/3 Taunts if you played an elemental last turn, made a 7/8/10 when it's effect went off. Putting it it around 3 stats over the usual 7 drop. but it didn't see much play because it was split between three relatively weak bodies.

Randomizer Druid had a 5 mana 4/4 Rush Beast with a Battlecry to summon a copy of it if you restored 5 health ( a relatively easy condition to fulfill) this game. Granted, it never saw much play because heal druid was terrible. But that was a total of 8/8 in stats for 5 mana when the condition went off. Meaning it was around 6 extra stats assuming that the average 5 drop is a 5/6.
The Hippogryph in of itself has 8 stats total. The usual 4 drop has 9 stats, meaning it was understatted. Mixed with it's low attack, there isn't a lot of use in it's rush. The usual 5 drop has a total of 11 stats total. Sphinx on it's own is 3 stats behind that. When this minion's effect goes off, it summons an underpowered 4 drop and makes a total of a 4/12 split between two relatively weak bodies.

Absolutely busted. Curves right out of Lightforged Zealot and summons ~9 Mana worth of stats (Assuming you would play a 2/6 for 3 Mana, and ignore the fact they have Taunt and Rush). Lightforged Zealot cheats you maybe ~2 Mana worth of stats on the board, this one cheats you ~4+, comparable to pre-nerf Hunter spellstone. I'm not sure why the other thread told you to buff this.

Reworked version of Lightforged Griffin, now a Battlecry, costs 5 and is correctly named a Sphinx.
