They can snowball and kill you on turn 6 (but you can kill totems), charge up spells/spell damage and burst you (but you can heal), or generate 20 cards and kill you with 20 damage 3 card combo (but they struggle early). Poondaedalin3 years ago I feel like the difference is that Paladin was already inherently powerful in Ashes of Outland. The issue was that the meta was very aggressive and prevented Libram or Pure Paladin from seeing use when Demon Hunter would roll over them on Turn 5. Shaman, on the other hand, lacks any sort of win condition, and even if the meta were to ease up, Shaman lacks any desirable qualities beyond board clears and decent burst damage.

Poondaedalin3 years ago It's on par with the 5 Mana Outcast in Demon Hunter, making it very powerful, but Shaman really needs cards other than spell synergy right now. Is it overtuned? Yeah, a little bit, but Shaman desperately needs cards that are above average considering that they've been bottom tier since Galakrond Shaman was nerfed.
