Poondaedalin4 years ago I think it’s because of the source material. World of Warcraft was most definitely marketed to teenagers and young adults, hence the lewdness, the gore, the references to adult content, etc. Since the beginning, Hearthstone tried to emulate that environment through its trading cards, but now, it seems the environment is being shifted to fit a younger audience. After all, an eight year-old with his mommy’s credit card is going to make a lot more money for Blizzard Activision than a college student who also has to juggle taxes and rent and basic needs. At the same time, though, I take issue with that push because of another of Activision’s products: Call of Duty: Black Ops. That game attracted a massive following of school-age children, making the game wildly economically successful without changing its content whatsoever. Why can’t Hearthstone do the same thing, I wonder? Is it because CoD was a Fortnite-esque “fad game”? Is Hearthstone a “fad game”? Was it back in the day?
Deloa4 years ago I'm honestly surprised how much people are outraged by the art change. Yes, Blizzard want to appeal to countries where there are higher risk of censorship and yes, Blizzard want to make money. What's wrong with that ?
Turba4 years ago I mean they just removed the blood... not that big diffrence i guess. But i still think they shouldnt do that. I dont really get the point of doing this. Unless Blizzard wants to appeal to countries who dont accept showing blood or scubbi.
Money money money...

Not really.
does it matter if the art is outdated?
Outdated art for Eviscerate. I just checked - they also changed the descreption for it. Spoiler alert, it sucks. :jaraxxus:
Yep, it's so good with Tess or Underbelly Fence, especially the latter because this costs only 2 ^^
If I think well, this card change your hand class. Am I right?
Inspired by the Mimic Octopus that made it into the main gallery.
