What's the deal with seeing a card you think deserves to be promoted that actually gets promoted? It's not a war, is it?
Let's say I don't feel like I'm so taxing.
Take Tidemistress Nazesh, @Marleon's card that I promoted, but that didn't mean I spared my criticisms of wording and problems with cost. But I rewarded the idea, which I liked a lot, because it's a different way to use Colossal (even if you didn't like it, judging by your comment, but that's okay, tastes are nice for that too).
I am interested in the card for what it represents, for the potential it offers, not for the balance of the card itself :)

I think it's a waste not to. In the end, I mean, what is there to lose? If you like the card, fine, and if you don't like it, amen.
Promoting cards should not be viewed as a fault, it being understood that Dusten's reasoning is valid. Only, it is precisely because I make myself less problems and I go more relaxed that I do this.
The discourse is always the one at the bottom; if people like paper, fine, otherwise amen :)

There are currently around 48,240 cards in the gallery. And the vast majority of them are quickly forgotten. Except the snail. I will never forget the snail.
But it's not like the Gallery is exactly a museum of contemporary art.
It is a page to have fun creating cards, it does not really have major implications. :qnikkoHi:

But on the other hand, I find it stupid not to show a card that I think is practically perfect. Unfortunately, there are not many people who look at the queue (yourself, if I'm not mistaken, you have admitted that you look more at the comments section) than those who look at the home, so it seems normal to give a minimum of visibility to the cards that I they seem to deserve it.
Precisely for the same reasoning that you did, I don't really promote all the cards I would like, because I am waiting to see other comments (and I often also write it under the cards that I like, that I would like to hear other opinions) :)

Otherwise, a card is forced into the gallery that didn't have time to go through the process of getting comments about balance, novelty and everything which results in it being a poorly-rated card for the creator just because you made a misjudgement. That's at least how I feel so I have a rather careful approach to promoting cards. You don't have to adapt it but I would at least recommend thinking about it
