KittyQueen (creator)3 years ago Uninteractive and unfun.
That sounds by definition like most quests.
I do see some irony in that

Marleon (4.2)3 years ago Shutting down quests seem so uninteractive and unfun I wouldnt ever support printing something like that
nutter666 3 years ago @marleon and that was my point, shes only really useful for shutting down quests. Which means having a potentially useless/dead card in your deck and having to draw it (or worse hold it in hand) until you want/need to shut down the quest. It's a check card, that would only see play if quests got so oppressive that a complete hard counter shutdown card was needed.
Stevethebarbarian 3 years ago Blowtorch Saboteur was a 3/3/4 and it was STILL only playable when DH was at its peak of overpoweredness.
Marleon (4.2)3 years ago And @nutter666 it shouldn't be a Basic Hero Power, because than it cancels out quests, which is even more oppresive
Marleon (4.2)3 years ago As to @Randomizer, well Blowtorch Sabotour actually was a viable card back in the first days of Ashes of Outland, as Demon Hunter at their full power was very strong and making their Hero Power cost 3 was actually viable at the cost of a 3 mana 3/3, so Blowtorch Sabotour wasn't completly useless. But well, it fell out of grace pretty quickly
Marleon (4.2)3 years ago Very opressive and not fun to play against. Both players do something miserable and it doesn't provide anything. It's some kind of mana disruption but sabotaging yourself isn't worth it. Besides, it's just very very not fun to play against
Randomizer3 years ago It's just really, really weak. The Hero Power, for all classes except maybe Warlock, is just a convenient way to float Mana, and isn't really an efficient use of it. Wasting tempo on a 5 Mana 5/2 defeats the purpose of cutting off your opponent's Hero Power, as you're putting yourself behind so that your opponent has a harder time... playing from behind. I'm surprised this card is as high as it is, a bigger Blowtorch Saboteur is about as competitive as the real one.
Deloa3 years ago I think it's ok as it is, it's only good against quest, and the 5 Mana 5/2 body is very bad.
And apart from the occasional Coins, Rogue is the class that rely the most on tempo and being forced to pay 5 Mana to do nothing would be backbreaking after playing a 5 Mana bad minion (even if it was a 5/4 or 5/5)
nutter666 3 years ago It should probably say be "Battlecry: Make both player's Hero Powers a big waste of Mana."
and Flex Back should be Hero Power "Transform this back into your basic Hero Power".
Rogue already has coin generation, etc to make the 5 cost of returning to their old hero power cheaper, not to mention that they'd have the option of playing Felicia just before completing their quest in order to negate the downside entirely.
That way she's an expensive/costly way to shut down an opponent's "better" hero power that you can potentially negate some of (your own) cost with some pre-planning.
