He makes comments and responds to people appropriately with the occasional joke or whatnot as we all do (I mean, there was that one user who made a card as a joke but just kept pushing that joke, they're not seen as a troll though just cuz they've been here longer) Look at my weird card that recently entered gallery where platypus2173 quickly and politely answers the questions of another use concerning my card's mechanics.

The "The Tidecaller" was on the top for the longest time even before Candle Sprite, when it having been dethroned was THE seminal top rated card change, Candle Sprite's reign, while still lengthy in its own right, went come and went comparatively quickly, beginning this new age of turmoil in the top rated section.
