DustenStein 1 year ago I like Fire Hawk in a bad Shudder combo in which you play C'Thun, a bunch of minions that gain Attack and your massive Shudder. It sucks but it's funny
I know most players think (especially fire hawk) is trash, but honestly I think fire hawk is just a 3 mana 6/3 on average witch ain't bad.
Brightwing is just cute af
ProfessionalCultist1 year ago Fizzlebang is iconic, and pulling anything big feels great. Most of the time you're only getting small discounts, but he's alright. I want some kind of reprint, maybe 3/3/4? or even 4/4/4.
Poondaedalin1 year ago Fun fact: Zul’jin can recast the Hunter Quest, and since the reward generates a ton of 1-Cost minions, you could pretty reasonably do the Quest a second time.
Gokee1 year ago Lately I have fallen in love with the Un'Goro Hunter quest. Because of all of the beast synergy in modern day, especially that one that gives +2/+1 to all copies. Winrate really is spectacularly bad but I love it anyway.
LeeroyJenkins (creator)1 year ago Thanks everyone for participating in this pointless, but fun, discussion about bad cards.
Burgermaker1 year ago I know I may sound rusty, but don't you guys think that powercreep went a little rampant since year of the phoenix/gryphon (I don't even know, a good amount of Year of the Phoenix cards looks quite crappy in comparison to Gryphon, but I feel it started in year of the phoenix)? I mean, I know that there are many old yet pretty good cards, but most of them are total garbage. And not even bad or weak, but just without existent reason to play them. While the game itself is balanced in its way looking at the diverse meta, and I know that with so much cards many of them have to be very bad in comparison to better ones, but I still feel it's too much, and now they can't even revert it, they can only stop making cards even better.
Burgermaker1 year ago I also opened Ul'dum Quest for Hunter, and tried to do no minion token Hunter with it, Rhok'delar and DK, and, again, I were winning only thanks to DK and Spellstone
Burgermaker1 year ago It was a long time ago, but I used to mostly play Rhok'delar Hunter because I had both it and Death Knight. So, for me it would be Rhok'delar, though I have to admit I don't recall it winning me a game even once it always was DK or Spellstone what made me win.

TheArcanist (4.4)1 year ago The only time I ever tried to refine my own deck was trying to make Emeriss work in Rastakhan's Rumble cause the expansion added quite a few dragons. It was super fun, especially with Zombeasts. I even had a positive winrate in Casual. :annoy-o-tron:
DustenStein 1 year ago Ok fine, we'll do it here. I do it like Poonda. While not as wacky, I like to revisit old bad archetypes with new cards. So my list would probably would be very long but my favourite, off the top of my head, Bazaar Burglary. Super Underrated card for Value Rogue, very little commitment for great results. Maybe Face Collector because he's the Legendary I crafted. I knew very well it wouldn't be good but I did and I successfully used him in Value Rogue for quite some time since, back then, all cards said "from your opponent's class" and he could provide stolen cards from other classes
Gosha305 1 year ago I have a weird appreciation for Harbinger Celestia because I have at some point crafted her for no fucking reason, and I'm pretty sure I once won a game by copying Ragnaros (granted it was a very long time ago, and I was probably at the bottom of Bronze).

Murozondy 1 year ago In general, all cards with bagonkers, even if they are useless, are beautiful.
Like Serena, the Darnassus something grand tournament, duskfallen aviana etc. XD
Poondaedalin1 year ago One of my favorite things to do in Hearthstone is to take bad cards and create good decks. For example, Tentacled Menace is an absolutely TERRIBLE card. However, when combined with Giants, it can come alongside a free 8/8 and permanently lock down a card in your opponent's hand.
Similarly, there was a really goofy OTK deck that I was toying around with back in Darkmoon Faire. If you use Shudderwock to copy Millhouse Manastorm and Silas Darkmoon's Battlecries, Shudderwock has the chance to send itself to your opponent, and then make your spells cost (0) this turn. Once that's done, you can play Instructor Fireheart and play Discovered spells for the rest of the turn. It doesn't usually kill (and hell, it doesn't usually work at all), but it's funny, and that's really what matters.
DustenStein 1 year ago I think this is better for chat since this is more a discussion than anything :chicken:

Why I love them? Here's the reason: Whenever I play them and win, my opponent quits Hearthstone forever.

I like Jungle Giants because, despite being too slow both to complete and to take advantage of, it feels so good when you play a lot of big minions in a turn for free.
