A weapon does not necessarily have to be a blunt object on a physical level, but it can give special powers and effects.
The priest's two weapons exemplify this quite well, even though they are both too weak and too few.
For the secrets part, explain to me why the priest shouldn't have them, both in his Holy version and, above all, in the Shadow one.
There is no reason, neither for the flavor nor for the game mechanics.
Finally, the minions with Rush.
True, they should NOT be a standard, certainly I can agree that the priest is not famous for attacking with minions, but in particular cases he should be able to do it (again, especially for the Shadow priest, who is much more aggressive. Harpies, or Undead, for example, are very strange without Rush - and here I also refer to non-priest cards, such as the Windfury Arpia, which is weaker and less flavorful than Gyrocopter...).
Let me be clear, this is just my vision of how a class that has always been divided into two should be, the Holy and the Shadow, which is the thing I always like most about the priest.

Deloa1 year ago @Murozondy : I think it's more about game mechanic than flavor. There are classes that kill minion with their minion and weapon, and there are classes that kill minions with Spells. Priest are by design one of the most removal-heavy and slow class.
