TheArcanist (4.4) (creator)2 years ago I really don't understand why you're saying it's too strong. Again, it's a net gain of 2 cards - an Arcane Intellect, in classes with card draw much better than AI. Then there's the potential, just potential, discard/Outcast synergy, but also a potential downside if you wanted to keep the left-most card. I think this can't get more balanced than it is.
keyvnn92 years ago What makes this too strong instead of other discard cards?
FriendlyShadow 2 years ago yeah, this card is too strong.
DustenStein 2 years ago You wouldn't run this in a combo deck don't be ridiculous. A discolock with cheap cards could use this. Getting a Hand of Gul'daniel or a Spider Egg to the left and playing this is a solid play and one that is not entirely hard to set up
Stevethebarbarian 2 years ago This is 3 mana draw 2 with a small upside, and a frankly considerable downside that if something valuable is on the left of your hand (for instance, if you're an owllock and you've got your owl, either of your tamsins, or your phillactery over there) you can't play it at all.
DustenStein 2 years ago No it's not. Outcast help is a positive side effect of the downside
FriendlyShadow 2 years ago 3 Mana Draw 3 + Discard synergy/Outcast Help. This card is too strong.
Stevethebarbarian 2 years ago Discarding a card is spectacularly harsher a downside than taking 3 damage, this is clearly inferior to Backfire, so it's fine, if not weak in Warlock. DH, too, has fantastic draw options, so I doubt this would see much play there either.
TheArcanist (4.4) (creator)2 years ago This is a net gain of 2 cards for 3 mana, so basically Arcane Intellect. It has a potential upside, but also a potential downside. I think it’s fine.
Gokee2 years ago My gut tells me that this is OP, but Warlock already has 3 mana draw three, and DH already has 2 mana draw two, so maybe it isn't really OP...
FriendlyShadow 2 years ago OP !
MaliceAlice2 years ago using discard synergy in dh for outcast opportunities is actually a brilliant idea.
TheArcanist (4.4) (creator)2 years ago Thanks! I was worried this has been made before while making this, honestly. I'm actually surprised it's something new.
DustenStein 2 years ago I love this. Great utility. I wish I had come up with something like this
TheArcanist (4.4) (creator)2 years ago Works with discard synergy in Warlock, or can unlock your Outcast slot in Demon Hunter if you have something expensive there. Thoughts?
