keyvnn93 years ago Some things that might look ridiculous and ubiquitous are often completely fine and not nearly as oppressive as they look. Galakrond Rogue cuts both Secret Passages.
This is strong, but only with setup, and the payoff isn’t too much gamebreaking imo
Kosmyc (3.5)3 years ago But my point is any rogue deck that runs ANY combo cards wants this card.
For example, you play Backstab, That 3 mana 1/4 with lackeys, and a lackey. That makes this 1 mana on the following turn.
Rogue simply has too many cheap resources that they can generate/run at anytime, making this nearly always 2 or less. If it was a 5 mana 4/4 I think it'd be better balanced (being a followup to a Edwin turn for example, rather than being essentially a 2 mana or better 4/3).
It dosen't matter if you get a god hand, this just works too well with everything in Rogue's arsenal, both classic, basic, and in standard rotation.
keyvnn93 years ago My point is that we can choose whatever god hand we want. There are lots of them, and quite a few are stronger than what you can get with this.
Mark of the Lotus is not only wild, it's only good in deep aggro like you stated. This card is basically an auto-include in any non control rogue (which is most of them btw)

Deloa3 years ago @aDankHeadHunter : Defias Ringleader is a 4/3 in turn 1 if you get the coin (on two bodies but still). It saw a little lay in beta, but now it's never seen.
keyvnn93 years ago I dont think that this with Coin is that much scarier than Underbelly Fence with Dragon’s Hoard. This is certainly power optimized, but I could see this being printed and being completely fine
ADankHeadHunter3 years ago Possibly a 4/3 on turn 2 if you get a coin. No thanks. Maybe make 5 mana. Also i don't really get the flavor of how jumping makes your cost reduced
