Nekkro 2 years ago I think the only discard cards that "almost" seem to work in the game's history are the ones that do something when discarded.
And I don't think it means much that there is discard in the core either.
In Scholomance they pulled the spider egg, and the only discard card they printed afterwards was the blackmoon buff.
I think they leave it more for a thematic issue.
Not to mention, the carnivorous plant was all year, with absolutely no efficient silence cards during all three expansions.
But this card is cool.
