Sorry, I obviously misunderstood. I thought you were wondering if this spell would also destroy the "imprisoned" minion from the cube (but the cube doesn't absorb minions, hence my perplexity).
Yes, for your strategy, it would work. Or at least, as I've always understood the HS rules, it should work
DatBoi1 year ago @Murozondy What do you mean? Cube can pop the copy, destroying the original (which I'm assuming is an enemy minion) but not the copied card in your graveyard. That means you removed the minion and will get two copies eventually. In the right strategy this can lead to a lot of value, even if you normally use the Cube on your own stuff. Or you can just play Wretched Reclaimer and basically you obtained a Mind Control.
