Deloa3 years ago It still works like a counter card, because you won't play it randomly. Sure, you can hit some minion in a lot of decks, but they may have Battlecries or no relevant effect. I think you only run this if there is a tribe card that's played a lot, like you play Ooze to counter dominant weapon decks.
Shoemanband3 years ago A card like Waste Warden works because it only counters decks that run multiple minions with the same type. A card that only targets minions just because they have a type is not healthy for the game.
Shoemanband3 years ago I'm not sure if it's OP, but I feel like a type-counter condition is way too broad and arbitrary. Minions with types make up around a third of the pool, while most cards that only counter a specific type can only affect 30 to 200 minions. Plus, there are a lot of minions with types that aren't picked for tribal synergy, just for their effects. So, this doesn't really counter a specific deck, it limits the power of an entire group of cards. It's not just a problem with this card, but the rest of your Inquisitor theme as well.
Gothe (creator)3 years ago is it too op? I dont think so?
Gothe (creator)3 years ago Don't know about the balance on this. It is Silence + damage on a neutral 2/2/1 but it also has a condition making it only target certain things. I'm not sure how prevalent minion types are in standard or what kinds of decks run how many.
