quakins3 years ago Yeah that's fair. Kingsbane decks nowadays wouldnt want 2
Gothe3 years ago @quakins i remember an old kingsbane deck did run two kingsbane with Valeera the hollow. It was purely so they could go infinite and never hit fatigue. The idea was to buff one of them, and only play the other when you would take fatigue.
quakins3 years ago Kind of defeats the purpose of kingsbane

quakins3 years ago I mean, again, everyone said the same thing about giving druid another weapon and that combo is just completely irrelevant in wild druid combo decks. I mean sure it may seem nice to get like 20 extra mana if you played twig earlier and have this and sphere but for a deck that cares a lot about drawing it's ramp so it can combo on turn 5, I just don't think you'd consider running this 4 card package. There's also the argument that this is quite overkill. If druid's don't need 20 extra mana now, why would they replace 4 of their cards that actually help their goals to get to this. I just think you guys are overrating this a little. And not just thing card but more so the usefulness of twig as a whole. That card has always been meh even when you have ways to exploit it
Poondaedalin3 years ago I'm on the side that this is too good with Twig. Since you can break it immediately, the combo quickly goes from small meme combo to a legitimately terrifying endgame combo. Any combo under the sun can be supported by 10 extra mana at the drop of a hat. Star Aligner, Malygos, BEEEES!, Togwaggle, the list goes on and on.
keyvnn93 years ago @quakins There were people who said no neutral weapons allowed and there were people who said that neutral weapons were overrated with Twig. One group was right.
This doesnt just break twig though, it also gets you +10 mana additionally
quakins3 years ago I highly doubt this would even be broken in wild druid. Everyone always said that druid couldn't get any weapons or anything but now sphere of sapience exists and druids in wild don't run that combo
Cosmic143 years ago 100% agree with you, Sebastian.
sebastian@arcadecont 3 years ago I hate twig, it gets in the way of cool cards like this ever being printed.
keyvnn93 years ago I think this may be a case where the neutral twig synergy actually is too much. 40 mana turns mean that no combo druid cards can ever be printed ever
