Cards like antonidas is less effective with this card as this takes up hand space. Control mage is a little supported archetype.

so this card is 2-4 cards every game, and it deals 9 damage to the whole enemy board, thats pretty good vs aggro/midrange
this card looks super good, not even considering that this would be in mage who can run sorc apprentice and antonidas
