Leo_need (creator)1 year ago @CakeIsGood You Enslave soul (steal it) and as lomg as you have the soul the body of a minion will obey you, however, that minion will be only a Husk of itself without a soul (it remains silenced).
Burgermaker1 year ago No I mean, it sounds like a wise quote of card designer
Murozondy 1 year ago @CakeIsGood
Ah oky, I'm sorry XD
Well, maybe this can be read as silencing the minion's soul :tinyfin:
Burgermaker1 year ago 'the soul of a card isnt its stats but the effect'

CakeIsGood 1 year ago that wasnt what i meant :tinyfin:
i meant that the effect of the card is more the soul of the card but you dont get the effect because you silence it so you only get the body and the card is named enslave soul witch kinda dont make sense to me
Murozondy 1 year ago @CakeIsGood
I agree with you, but this *silence* the minion, so stats do matter :tinyfin:
You don't play this just to silence the enemy minion, you have a 1 mana spell in priest doing that. I like this at 6 mana, but I also agree with those who say it could easily be 7 :)
Caesar (4.1)1 year ago In before making a vanilla 1 Mana 7/7 :annoy-o-tron:
But yes, in this case the stats seem worth a 2 mana tax on Drown
CakeIsGood 1 year ago the soul of a card isnt its stats but the effect
Murozondy 1 year ago @Dustenstein
Well, "some stats" can include 1/1 like 12/12 :tinyfin:
DustenStein 1 year ago Drown is a Silence + Destroy, except the minion doesn't even die which is even better and that for 4 mana. If we add 2 mana on this, some stats seem fine
Murozondy 1 year ago What does drown have to do with it? :boomS:
With this you gain the minion itself on the board, with drown to the maximum you can draw it :jaraxxus-thinking:
DustenStein 1 year ago Just realised: With Drown at 4 mana 6 mana is fine :chicken:
DatBoi1 year ago @Caesar I guess that works too, even if Najakk is a Legendary. I would like it more at 7 at this point but 6 can also work I guess.
DustenStein 1 year ago Silence is a downside but you still hard remove an enemy minion without it dying and get some stats
Caesar (4.1)1 year ago If we consider Najakk+Focused Will it's 2 cards, 5 Mana and a 1/7 :annoy-o-tron:
This feels like 6 or 7 to me (single target removal needs to be soo good to be usable)
Leo_need (creator)1 year ago If we consider Silence as a downside, can that justify a 6-mana cost?
Mzop (3.7)1 year ago this would be a pretty strong card in arena. in ranked tho i think its fine as is, maybe a bit strong.
DustenStein 1 year ago I think 7 mana is fair
DatBoi1 year ago Starting from Mind Control - Silence, I'd say 9.
Starting from Azsharan Ritual + Assassinate, I'd also say 4 + 4 + it's a single card so 9 still.
Let's say big spell makes this cheaper overall, let's say we take Power Word as a comparison rather than Assassinate or that we value Sunken Ritual another mana: 7/8.
6 mana is probably too cheap.
Murozondy 1 year ago Interesting. idk, maybe it's fine. I want to hear opinions. For me, is nice, maybe 7 mana.
