DustenStein (creator)2 years ago It's either one of the earliest patches or it was like that from the start. I don't know. It's just the order you select them in. You usually go from left to right so maybe you didn't notice? I have no idea when that became a thing either
Wishful2 years ago Like, I remember the abilities being random so when did they make that a thing?
DustenStein (creator)2 years ago What do you mean?
Wishful2 years ago Well I can see this is obviously way more for Edwin and Smite, but I'm referring to this working with Slipstream.
Blastbite never always combos with Slipstream simply because Bomb flinger is a 1 cooldown AND is the exact same speed so it's a 50/50 most of the time. To add to that, the dirty tricks does combo with that one thing with slip stream but Captain hootusk I would saw would be not the first pirate I would want if Slipstream was on my team.
DustenStein (creator)2 years ago HOWEVER, if you were imagining something different, give it a shot yourself ;)
DustenStein (creator)2 years ago *not exclusively Edwin and Smite but I included them in my calculations
DustenStein (creator)2 years ago I was thinking Edwin & Smite.
Since it's slow, you can use Smite's Overboard, Edwin's first ability that goes twice if the target hasn't acted (whatever that is called) and the ship's equipment rockets to get out several attacks and dish out finishing blows with the barrage.
Using Dirty tricks, you can make it easier for Edwin to trigger his first ability.
You can also combo Dirty Tricks with the ship's All-Out Attack for a lot of damage.
Using the Ship's Bomb Lob, you can trigger Blast Bite easily
Wishful2 years ago To be completely honest, I don't think this was fully what I was expecting. Like don't get me wrong, this would be run with Slipstream, but these effects don't fully feel like their synergies work as well as they should. I think the primary one is the cannon barrage, and how techinically you would want to run that in a beast warband if I'm not wrong, since that effect would basically never trigger with Hooktusk and Slipstream.
Other than that, it's not a half bad Pirate, just not what I was thinking would work with the ship.

DustenStein (creator)2 years ago Oh, I forgot (again):
Gunpowder obtained for task 7
Terror obtained for task 2
Kapiork (3.9)2 years ago Slipstream's the name, plunder's the game :reno:
DustenStein (creator)2 years ago the ship got in! Slipstream's the name
DustenStein (creator)2 years ago Now, this will look a bit weird if you haven't seen the ship yet. This has a lot of synergy with the other Pirates though AND it is a caster which is a role Pirates can't fill yet.
Oh, and, btw, I updated the second ability for the ship
Huh, weird.

Whenn? :chicken:
Yeah, right? I also only learned that thru hearthcards comments
Wh--
What?
:tinyfin:
You can choose the order of attacks if they're the same speed. I'm not joking, it's a real thing
And possibly. We will see.
