Some are saying that this is a 6 mana Maly, but what they don't say is that you have to trigger this things deathrattle (and hope tat it doesn't pull the other Onyx whelp from your hand.) So you have to spend some additional resources to break this or just leave it up for next turn. Then, on your opponent's turn, they kill this (or bounce it or silence it) then kill the maylgos it summons. It doesn't seem that viable for malygos decks. Just use Floop.
keyvnn9 (creator)4 years ago Keep in mind that Malygos Druid hasn’t seen much play at all in this expansion. Malygos Rogue had a very similar card to this, except you could get multiple copies of Malygos from it and it cost 2 less (that deck was a meme).
In the current meta, I say that this card is completely fine.

Shoemanband4 years ago The Dragon pool is a little lacking right now. This could be buffed in stats, like a 4/3 maybe, and still be balanced.
Shoemanband4 years ago To "break even" with this card, considering that you need to fulfill the condition of having a Dragon in your hand to summon, you would need to have a Dragon that's at least better than a 7/7. Of the 19 Dragons in Standard, there are only 11 Dragons 7 Mana or more, and six of those Dragons don't have powerful Battlecries, and one of those is Nozdormu. Really, the only worthwhile pulls from this are Malygos, Ysera, and Kalecgos, and maybe Deathwing. That's pretty restrained compared to Voidcaller, which would still be good summoning anything above a Blood Imp.
DollmasterDoritos4 years ago I like this one. It supports decks that pulls out big minions early and it doesn't look too powerful like Voidcaller and pre-nerf Barnes and can be used by any class.

Angel: But its so strooong, you could get massive minions super early. That could be very unfun for your opponent.
