Randomizer3 years ago This is assuming you're only holding one of each card. Two adorable infestations get 4 Beasts total. Acornbearer also gives you two Beasts. Honestly this Quest is just as easy to complete in Druid as it is in Hunter, which is very, very easy.

DreMZ3 years ago I dont think it should add anything to your hand, considering how easy it is to complete this. That said, I'm not sure the power is all that strong, at least in Hunter. At best its either 3/3 Charge, which is comparable to the Bazaar Quest hero power, or a 3/3 Zixor which could be scary but its hunter so I think its fine.
Meanwhile Druid is straight up obnoxious with this thanks to the draw 2 tiger and the Elusive Taunt guy, but they have a slightly harder time triggering this compared to Hunter.
Overall interesting card, but I would up the requirement somewhere between 6-8. That makes it a lot harder for Druid, who gets the more annoying possibilities with this, while still being relatively easy for Hunter who gets overall worse options by comparison.
Randomizer3 years ago The last thing this card needs is a buff. We've established it's really easy to complete this quest in Hunter, even without Locusts and Hounds you have stuff like Desert Spear, Animal Companion, Wolpertinger, and the new 1 Mana Beast generators for both classes to naturally complete the quest. A 3/3 each turn, sometimes with Rush and Deathrattle, is really strong in proportion to how easy this quest is to complete. It doesn't need to be an infinite value generator too.
DustenStein 3 years ago If the card is not added to your hand this quest is on the weaker side because all you get is a 3/3. Comparable to Paladin's quest s in summon a minion with set stats. But unlike paladin's, this one doesn't keep any buffs. Adding the card to your hand would make it significantly more interesting imo.

And I’ll be honest when I made this I was thinking of cards like Teacher’s Pet and Exotic Mountseller, not Unleash the Hounds. In hindsight it should definitely have a higher requirement. Would 8 suffice? I’d say no higher than 10 given how Unseal the Vault was complete trash and this takes more than just a lot of normal minions.
The Daninator3 years ago I like the concept of dual class quests but the requirement should be upped, doubled, or maybe even further. But if it went further, probably not too much maybe just to 12 or something

Generally when a card says "Discover X minion. Summon it/a copy of it" it usually means it's just summoned. Or "Discover a spell. Cast it" means you cast the spell immediately.

DustenStein 3 years ago And the HP will not only put the minion into your hand but also offer all minions you summoned that game, even the ones you played. Either you play Spell Hunter for a niche reward of 3/3 charge every turn, or you get fancy with deathrattles.

Gothe3 years ago I mean, all you need is Unleash the Hounds and like one or two other beasts. That way you can grantee you always summon a 3/3 Charge Beast for 2 mana each turn.

It summons a 1/1 and adds a 1/1 to your hand (and gives a minion +1/+1 but it doesn't matter). This means +2 for the quest. Unleash the hounds could be used to get 1-3 charge minions and the one 5 mana 4/5 taunt deathrattle summon a 3-cost beast (Teacher's pet, I think) will do 1. It's a good quest that is easy to achieve. I don't know about the reward, though. Might be too weak. Unless all cards in your deck are deathrattles this won't go anywhere. Unlike everyone else I don't think 3 mana for 4 charge damage is enough.

With Animal Companion it's not that great (3/3 Taunt or 3/3 Leokk) except for Huffer, but then it's just like Unleash the Hound.

Swarm of Locusts is very good with this but its rotating next year and even then I don't think it makes this completely broken.
