Gothe5 years ago @Lucious what happens when you put a Quest in an even deck? Then Gen wouldn't activate and your hero power would still costs 2.
Lucious5 years ago My mistake, sorry. Also, just wondering, what DOES happen when you put a Quest in an even deck?
Tchouchee (creator)5 years ago No, Lucious. Otherwise, you would have to draw this card to trigger effect. Although I do agree, the wording could be better.
Gothe5 years ago I don't think start of Game effects work like that. I'm pretty sure it just sees what's in the deck you cue up n, doesn't matter if it's in your mulligan or not. This can be tested with just putting some odd even cards in a Baku deck and keep playing until you get said even card in your mulligan, d see if Baku activates. Unless i'm wrong of course.
Lucious5 years ago No, the correct wording is "If your deck contains no 4-cost minions, your Treants are Mana Treants this game." This means you can't have this in your deck when the game starts (after mulligan), it has to be in your hand for the effect to trigger. That's why this effect is so powerful and why the card isn't understated.
Gothe5 years ago also a side note; cards with Start of Game effects should be understated. Like, making it a 3/4 or a 2/5 or something like that.

A pretty interesting card.
Stevethebarbarian 5 years ago And does it even matter? You can summon two better Greedy Sprites on turn 3, and then three more on turn 3 once your opponent gives you a bunch of Mana Crystals.
@Gothe Well... Now I'm sad.
