I would much rather play a 1 mana 1/1 with no downside than the same minion with a downside.

The reason blessing of kings is better is because you can potentially deal 4 burst damage, with this you can only deal 1, sometimes.

Yhea, so this is like a 1/1 with divine shield, taunt and magnetic to any minion at the only cost of having 1 minion
